Why Your Help Matters.
There are currently fewer than 400 individual North Atlantic Right Whales on planet Earth. If we don't help them, they will go extinct.
These whales are protecting our planet. Just one NARW is able to remove 30 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere in 1 year by fertilizing phytoplankton through nutrient cycling.
Our Project Goal
To improve response time for NARW entanglements by working toward the creation of an early entanglement warning system utilizing bioacoustics to analyze and isolate the distress call of these magnificent marine mammals. With this knowledge, we will be able to decrease the time it takes to rescue them.

Partner With Us!
With your support, we can equip our team with the tools and technology needed to learn these distress calls and pinpoint the NARW's exact location when whales are in danger. Here's what we need to make that possible:
-
Suction Cup Heart Rate Monitor Tag
-
3 Drones
-
Rubidium time chip for boat hydrophone
-
3 Hydrophone Arrays
-
The Research Team Support
-
Research Vessel
-
Jet Zodiac (smaller vessel)
Help Us FUNdraise!
Proceeds from these tours support Whale Guard's efforts to create an early entanglement detection system. Thank you for your support!

Educational Aerial Spotter Tours
Help assist conservation efforts by joining us in the sky! You will have the opportunity to learn all about the endangered NARW and (if located) take photos from a safe distance to send to the Blue World Research Spotter Network, along with their location.

Educational Land Walking Tours
Learn all about the flora and fauna right in our backyard with an eco-tour! Come along for an adventure through nature with Master Naturalist, Nick Williams, as he brings to life the outdoors. This is perfect for homeschool groups, nature enthusiasts, and more!
